It is important for educational buildings to be innovative, adaptable to development, contemporary, accessible, and have sufficient capacity for use. The old high school building in the central district of Erzincan is an example of an educational building that has been redesigned to possess these qualities. The three blocks designed incorporate high-quality usage areas for educational and social functions. In addition to spacious classrooms, there are independent areas such as a physical education hall, library, visual arts and music workshops. Steel structure was preferred in this educational building, which required large open spaces. In addition to areas for ceremonies and physical education, green spaces and seating areas have also been included.
