In our country, some residential areas are declared Urban Transformation Areas to improve their physical condition. The Kağıthane Service Site Reserve Building Area in the Merkez Mahallesi (Central District) of Kağıthane, Istanbul, covering 13,770 m², falls under this category. Previously, it consisted of 6 blocks with 288 independent units. The new development comprises 8 blocks. The blocks are positioned along the perimeter of the plot, thus optimizing common areas. A total of 300 residences are designed in various types, including 2+1 and 3+1 apartments. Wood-look composite cladding, brick cladding, and grouted insulation plaster and paint were chosen as cladding materials for the building envelope. Metal slats and glass railings were incorporated.
