Lavender

Housing

2017

Lavender is a residential project designed in Sancaktepe, Istanbul. A central inner garden is located within the project area, featuring social spaces and an artificial pond. The landscaping, utilizing lavender as well as various trees and flowers, contributes to creating a living space in harmony with nature. The project's name is inspired by the dense vegetation of the site, particularly the use of lavender. The scent and visual aesthetics of lavender have become characteristic features of the project, while various plant species and trees create a natural living space atmosphere. It offers users a living experience integrated with nature.

To ensure a visual connection between each block and the park and artificial pond, a nearly circular layout was decided upon in 7 of the project's blocks in the site plan. The remaining 5 blocks form the street frontage where commercial axes are located. Located near the Anatolian Highway, this area, with high pedestrian and vehicular traffic, was deemed suitable for commercial functions. The project consists of 12 blocks and a total of 535 residences. With different apartment designs including 1+1, 2+1, 3+1 and 4+1, the diversity of users was prioritized.
