Maritza Valley Residences
Housing
2025
Beykoz, in addition to its relationship with the Bosphorus, is a unique location that is both isolated from and connected to the city. Maritza Valley Residences is an 11-block residential complex designed in Beykoz. The project, consisting of two phases, features a stepped design in the basement floors of both phases due to the elevation difference in the area. These stepped basement floors house parking and technical areas, as well as indoor social facilities such as a swimming pool, sauna, and fitness center. The landscape design emphasizes the use of green spaces by leaving large open areas of soil. Slope, roads, and topography are primary factors in the organization of the masses.
In the second phase, an optimal variety of materials, including a significant amount of wood, were used on the facades to achieve a more serene appearance within nature. Glass and metal railings were used together in front of balconies and windows. In this design, which prioritizes the elevation of the land and landscape arrangements, outdoor swimming pools are located close to the centers of the buildings in both phases. It is a unique residential project that meets the needs of modern life while also providing an escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.
