Designed in Çekmeköy, Istanbul, Cottage is a residential project within the unique fabric of Reşadiye, connected by the Northern Marmara Highway, and designed with outward-facing usage scenarios. Located away from the densely populated residential areas of Istanbul, the villa complex prioritizes the relationship between living units and open spaces. Terraces are incorporated to strengthen the connection between indoor and outdoor areas. The aim is to maintain strong ties with the green spaces that constitute the unique texture of the environment through functional landscaping, and the facade design aims to optimally utilize views and daylight.

The site plan shows a complex of 11 blocks with two different villa types. These types differ in their plan solutions. In the first type, common and private areas are defined separately. Living units are connected to the terrace and pool, while the rooms face the rear facade and greenery. The second plan type differs in the arrangement of the living areas and rooms. While the living area, pool, and terraces are placed on the same axis, the rooms are positioned on either side of the central living area. The other two sides of the living room are connected to the pool and terraces. Modern, innovative, and functional choices were also maintained in the roof and facade design of the buildings.
