By prioritizing the realism and feasibility of design criteria, the aim is to create projects that are well-suited to their specific context. In the Melisia Residences—a 9-block development situated in a unique location near the Samandıra Airbase in Sancaktepe, Istanbul—a sense of rhythm is introduced to the structures through a series of terraces that step down from the roadside toward the airbase. These recessed terraces are integrated with landscape design, fostering the use of outdoor spaces and thereby contributing to one of the project’s core objectives: a greater sense of individual, detached living.
